We have been farming vegetables since 1999 at Selim Uludag Organic farm which is 4000dekar in size and located at Sanliurfa, ‘the abundant crescent Mesapotamia’. This area is quite convenient both ecologically and economically for various sorts of vegetable farming as it is not exposed to the industrial pollution yet.

In this region, it is sunny 300 days of the year. In vegetable farming this sun light and warmth is effective in aroma, colour and nourishing minerals whereas in herbal farming it is efficient for genotype oil levels.

Our farm is situated at the 11.000 years old historical Gobeklitepe region where it is considered to be one of the milestones of the human history. It is believed that the first farming took place in this region which also imposes a special responsibility on us.

Organic farming carries out a social responsibility as well because while doing organic farming it is important to be in consistent with nature’s rhythm.

For farming, removing weeds, hoeing and drying procedures approximately 250 workers operates each season. We aim to choose these workers from the local unemployed women.

In line with organic farming, we do not use non biological fertilizers, chemicals or genetically mutated seeds (GMO). Production, storage, processing and packaging stages are inspected by Ecocert which is an organic certificate institution.

Our products are recognized by EU farming regulations, JAS Japanese Organic Standardisations and NOP American Organic Standardizations.
