Societal Productivity Award

In 2002, Mehmet Sait Uludağ, our board chairman, was awarded the Societal Productivity Award at the International World Young Businessman Entrepreneur Competition, for the EKOPARK project. This aims of this Project are creating organic agricultural  production using natural energy sources, promoting research and the creation of an eco-tourism region.
The 35.000 hectare EKOPARK project is located on Turkey’s border with Syria in Hatay, Kilis, Şanlıurfa and Mardin provinces. This land which has lain undisturbed for 52 years , is being put into production after being cleared of mines.





Environmentalist of the year

Mehmet Sait Uludag, the chairman of the board of Selim Uludag Organic Farm was chosen for the ‘’Environmentalist of the year’’ award by the Southeast Anatolian Project (GAP) Journalists Association for his efforts to promote environmentally-friendly organic agriculture in the (This region ,which has not yet been threatened by industrial pollution, is ecologically and economically suitable for raising a variety  of crops.)  GAP region.
